Thursday Thirteen - #6
![]() |
1. A week old bottle of Aquafina water. 2. A bag of beads I bought on sale earlier this summer – Labradorite rondelles, raspberry colored glass beads, small glass beads in various shades of green. 3. An empty GameStop bag. 4. A pretty blue and white Peruvian purse that's empty at the moment. 5. A cribbage board waiting to be mounted in a shadow box. 6. Miami Vice Season One on DVD. 7. Books I've finished reading. (A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'engle and Page After Page by Heather Sellers) 8. Various papers that need to be filed. 9. Instructions on how to set a $4 alarm clock from Target that didn't work but 10. Skinny strips of envelope leftovers sitting at the end of my fancy schmancy Brookhaven mousepad/electric letter opener. 11. An empty glass from the juice I drank this morning. 12. A pen with no cap. 13. A list of possible Thursday Thirteen topics scribbled on a pink Post-it! Links to other Thursday Thirteens! |

Miami Vice? The one with DJ in it? Pray tell, why??? :)
Have a good Thursday!
I LOVE my $4 Target alarm clock. I push its little snooze button over and over every morning.
You ist has put me under conviction. I have to clean my desk now, thankyouverymuch.
My T13 is up. It is my ninth and it's the Elemental Edition.
YOUR LIST! Your list has put me under conviction. My fingers are not working right today. And I am way too lazy to use the preview feature.
Madeleine L'Engle is one of my absolute favorite authors EVER!
This is about the best Thursday Thirteen I have read. What was in the GameStop bag?
I was scanning old photos in this weekend, and I have sooo much stuff stacked on teh desk right now! Great Idea!
Just be glad it's a week old bottle of water, not a week old bottle of OJ. Stale is better than fermented anyday!
Hey, I did my own first T13. Can you believe it?
You changed the descriptions of the neighborhood! And I've been demoted.
Lisa, Why Miami Vice? Well, after watching a few episodes with my hubby who loves the show and had to have the DVD set, I really don't know why. However, I'm glad he enjoyed it. I had never seen the show back in the '80s and now that I have, I gotta say, what's with all the Don Johnson hype? Really. I don't get that.
Yellojkt, the GameStop bag once held Lara Croft Tomb Raider Legend...but not for very long, since it was snatched from the bag and rushed to the PS2 as quickly as possible when we got it home. (Really fun game for those who like such things. Sort of back to the TR roots with puzzles to solve and such, and on easy mode even a wimp like me can play pretty well!)
BG, I'll be by soon to see your first T13 (yay!!), but why in the world do you think you've been demoted???
